What is this medicine used for?
REGABALINE EG belongs to a class of medicines used to treat epilepsy, neuropathic pain and Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) in adults.
Peripheral and central neuropathic pain

Painful manifestations may be described as sensations of heat, burning, shooting pain, throbbing, stabbing, shooting pain, cramping, aching, tingling, numbness, pinching and of needle strokes. Peripheral and central neuropathic pain can also be associated with changes in mood, sleep disturbances, fatigue, and can have an impact on physical and social functioning, and on quality of life in general.
Epilepsy

Your doctor will prescribe PREGABALIN STADA to help treat your epilepsy when your current treatment does not completely control your seizures. You must take PREGABALINE EG in combination with your current treatment. PREGABALINE EG should not be used alone, but should always be used in combination with another antiepileptic treatment.

PREGABALINE EG is used to treat Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Symptoms of GAD include prolonged excessive anxiety and worry that is difficult to control.
